Dr. Alexandra Krishnan graduated from dental school at the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara, Romania, in 2012. In 2018, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed an International Dental Program to practice in the U.S.  

Having experienced different dental treatments as a child, Dr. Alexa knew by high school that she wanted to help others through dentistry and hasn’t looked back since! She believes in treating patients like her family, emphasizing clear communication and understanding in her care.  

Since joining Shrewsbury Dental Associates in July 2024, Dr. Alexa has enjoyed using her diverse dental skills to give patients positive experiences. The most rewarding situations for Dr. Alexa are those where she can relieve pain and help patients confidently smile!  

Dr. Alexa was born and raised in Romania, where her family still lives. She and her husband have two girls, and a white chinchilla named Snowflake. In her spare time, Dr. Alexa enjoys trying new recipes, listening to health podcasts, and staying active by working out.
